Overcome preventable illnesses: What’s your battle plan?

May 9, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

  • This event has passed.
It was an outstanding seminar, full of practical and common sense information.  We are inspired to change the way we eat.
-Barbara Landers

"Practical and common sense information about eating. Mediterranean Diet, avoid processed foods, plan ahead, don't drink your calories, and so much more."

-Premier event attendee

"I could listen to the very same event again. It was fascinating, fun and informative. Not a minute wasted on blah, blah, blah. I will definitely invite friends next time--wish I had this time."

-Event attendee

"Learning is fun...and it's even more fun with you [Dr. Hassell] there!"

Amazing that Dr. Hassell took the time to answer so many questions from the audience. It was very informative. His style made the session super engaging. The time just flew by!

Let's talk about how to sustain positive lifestyle changes.

At our first event, we discussed the background of type 2 diabetes and other lifestyle-preventable illnesses. Then, local champions Jeff and Letha shared how they improved their lifestyle to reduce their risks, and harms from type 1 and type 2 diabetes.  This time, Dr. Hassell will discuss the evidence around sustaining these lifestyle changes.

We were not designed to have diabetes. What would your life look like ten years from now with/without diabetes? Here are the changes you can make to sustain a life free from health debt.

If you have a question for Dr. Hassell, add it when you complete the registration form.

A donation of $15 for individuals, and $30 for families is suggested, but not required.  Patients are not asked to donate.
Admission and personalized donations will go to the non-profit lifestyle medicine educational foundation Comprehensive Risk Reduction Foundation, also known as GreatMed.org. (501c3, EIN#88-326-7056)
