  • This event has passed.

Type 2 Diabetes prevention, remission, and reversal, and how lifestyle can also help management of Type 1 diabetes.

We will be having a discussion about lifestyle approaches to diabetes management, type 2 diabetes prevention and reversal, and waist loss.  The evening will include an interview with special guest Jeff, who will describe his Type 1 (insulin-requiring) diabetes journey, and how lifestyle improved his blood sugar control, reduced his costs, and enhanced his well-being. Following that will be time for questions and discussion about how the same tools Jeff used have helped prevent, manage, and reverse type 2 diabetes for many others Dr. Hassell has worked with.  If you have a question for Dr. Hassell, add it when you complete the registration form.
A donation of $10 for individuals, and $20 for families is suggested, but not required.
Admission and personalized donations will go to the non-profit lifestyle medicine educational foundation Comprehensive Risk Reduction Foundation, also known as GreatMed.org. (501c3, EIN# 326-7056)
